Am I happy or is it sadness flooding from inside?
If on my face there is no smile nor a frown
Could you decipher what I'm feeling, if anything at all?
Do you know that I am living although you cannot
hear the rhythmic beating in my chest?
What you see is just a girl standing shoulders back
but still she is small.
You cannot see the extension of her dreaming,
nor her hopes or the goals that fill her head with greatness.
Blank and white is not in which the world is painted with color.
What is seen or heard does not equal knowledge or fact.
What you see is a just a girl standing head high,
but still she is small.
Please look again, because what is standing before you,
is an extraordinary being whose magnitude is destined to be known.

I wrote this for my little sister<3 she doesn't see the strength or future success I see in her. She is struggling with self esteem issues, and some other personal issues right now but I know one day her relevance will be unmistakable. I just wish she could look in the mirror and see in her reflection what I see every time I look at her.
